Can MIST be used on existing packaging?

Yes, our product was designed to be used on packaging you already have. Simply peel off the sticker from the roll and apply it on the box. It will keep the temperature and humidity in check during transportation and storage, giving you and the consumers peace of mind that mold didn't get a chance to rapidly grow inside the box.

Do MIST stickers have an expiration date?

They do, simply because they will be exposed to various environments and with time will start to react. This happens very slowly and it will take over 5 years for them to start working completely. Furthermore, MIST stickers have a protective peel-off film on the indicator side, so that the sticker starts working as soon as the products are packaged and ready to be shipped.

What does the sticker monitor?

Our sticker monitors the two key environmental indicators of mold growth - temperature and humidity. As it changes colour, it is possible to determine whether or not storage and transportation protocols were strictly followed and what is the likelihood that mold has developed. This is important, because mold releases mycotoxins and spores, both of which are extremely harmful to humans in certain concentrations.
